Hello Maritime Shopaholics!

My name is Louise, the girl behind Fifth Sparrow, and I was so excited when Chelsea asked me to write a guest post for her while she's off getting married! She's such a sweetheart and always dresses in the prettiest outfits, so I decided that I would try my hand at creating an outfit that's as cheerful as her! Plus, I have a pretty huge weak spot for anything striped, so it's not hard to twist my arm into wearing my favourite shirt!

Outfit Details: Striped Shirt- H&M, Floral Skirt- J.Crew, Nude Heels, Pearl Earrings and Pink Belt- Aldo, Assorted Bangles

And the verdict? Dressing cheery actually works! I was kinda stressing from moving and living out of a suitcase, but I gotta say, I felt pretty chipper in my stripes and florals. I think you're on to something here Chelsea!

Hi lovelies!

It's Danielle from hellodenj here! I'm so happy to be here filling in for Chelsea while she's off getttin' married! I'm sure she's going to look absolutely stunning (and stylish!) and I wish her all the best on her special day! I'm also crossing my fingers that she'll share some wedding details when she gets back - who doesn't love a pretty wedding?!

Summer is fast approaching, and I love the idea of bringing the current colour blocking trend (of which I just can't get enough of!) to the beach, or on a honeymoon of course! I assembled a few pieces I hope I'll be sporting in the sun this summer with the appropriate application of sunblock! hehe.

and the lucky lady is....

Last month I launched a giveaway in partnership with The Urban Shoe Myth, located in Uptown Saint John. The contest kicked off on May 4 with a great response- thank you to all the wonderful ladies who participated and shared your favourite shoes and brands! The contest closed last week with a total of 250 entries!

Thank you for being so patient in anticipation of who won the $100 gift certificate, kindly provided by Shelley of The Urban Shoe Myth. As they always say, the week before your wedding can be madness- and mine was no exception! Amongst dealing with last minute planning and organizing the finer details, unfortunately I was in a car accident the day of my bachelorette. Thankfully, I was ok, but my car was totalled when another driver cut me off, leaving me no time to hit the breaks. The aftermath was just some extra work I had not been anticipating with a week to go until my wedding!  In the end, we had a beautiful day and an awesome time (look for photos from the wedding on my blog next week)!

So without further ado, I'd like to announce the lucky lady who now has a $100 credit to go shopping for a new pair of beautiful shoes from The Urban Shoe Myth....

I was so honoured when Chelsea e-mailed me and asked me to do a guest post for her blog.  I love her blog and her style.  I was really hoping to be able to get these outfit photos taken outside but no such luck with our weather here in the Maritimes lately.   Floral patterns are something I am tending to gravitate towards more this season.  I love the fun and feminine side they can add to an outfit.
